Over the past few weeks we have been lucky enough to take a select group of clients out to sunny Fiorano to experience driving the 296 GTB for the first time.
Accompanied by a dedicated Ferrari Instructor, they enjoyed the 296 GTB around the hills and local roads of Maranello on day one, followed by a special drive at Ferrari’s very own Fiorano circuit on day two to feel the thrill of the 830hp the 296 GTB has to offer.
Ferrari were able to show them why the new 296 GTB redefines the whole concept of fun to drive, guaranteeing pure emotions not only when pursuing maximum performance, but also in everyday driving. The two-day event also included a special dinner at Ristorante Cavallino, whose cuisine is inspired by world-renowned chef Massimo Bottura.

“I wasn’t expecting the car to feel like a non-hybrid vehicle. The electric power delivery was imperceptible meaning it felt just like an 800bhp car. I liked it so much I ended up ordering one!”
“The trip was awesome, a real treat to try out the 296 GTB in such amazing settings. The car exceeded all of my expectations both on and off the track. On the road, it behaved just as you would want a car to behave, but both confident and nimble when you want to push the limit. Whilst on the track, you could not wish for a better machine to make you feel like a true racing driver. If you missed a corner, the 296 GTB was able to take your imperfect line in its stride and make you feel like you were in control. The handling was like nothing I have ever driven before. Surprisingly, driving the car in electric mode was not only loads of fun but had the benefit of showing that early morning drives don’t need to wake the neighbours anymore!”
