So, here are our answers to the questions our team at Dick Lovett Ferrari are being asked most often.

1. What will the Ferrari Roma cost?

The newest arrival from Marinello, the Ferrari Roma, has a starting price of £170,000. This is a Ferrari designed to be driven and enjoyed on a daily basis. It’s flowing, understated lines, integrated interior and iconic Ferrari V8 turbo engine, mean it’s worth every penny.

2. What is the launch date for the Ferrari Roma?

The Roma is all set to launch in May 2020.

3. Who designed the Ferrari Roma?

The sleek and streamlined Ferrari Roma was designed at the Ferrari Styling Centre, headed by Flavio Manzoni. Already set to become an icon of Italian design, the Roma represents the very essence of Scuderia Ferrari: Pure in its bloodline, determined in its drive to impress.

4. What's different about the Ferrari Roma's interior?

In short, the interior of the Roma takes a new direction for Ferrari. Where Ferrari usually concentrates on putting the driver at the heart of the action, with the passenger in a passive role, that’s not the case with the Ferrari Roma. The new symmetrical structure of the front cabin forms two separate safety cells, making your co-pilot an integral part of the driving experience. With boosted space and enhanced comfort features, it offers the passenger a more immersive ride than ever before.

5. Is the Ferrari Roma practical?

Yes and perhaps more than you’d think. In this stunning 2+ coupé there’s a surprising amount of space. Two smaller seats nestle behind the front two. Big enough for another passenger or to store bags. And with 272 litres of space waiting for you in the boot – ideal for shopping or a couple of overnight bags - the Ferrari Roma proves itself as a practical, daily driver.

6. What engine is in the Ferrari Roma?

The Roma is powered by Ferrari’s legendary V8 turbo engine - voted International Engine of the Year four years in a row. Further enhancements come in the form of new cam profiles and a speed sensor in order to reach 5,000 RPM. There are new anti-pollution filters too. All added with no negative impact performance.

7. What about the Roma’s performance?

When it comes to performance, the Ferrari Roma has a few tricks up its perfectly styled sleeves. Thanks to its truly incredible 3.8-litre V8 engine, delivering 611 horsepower. For you, this means a sprint from 0 to 60 mph is 3.3 seconds, topping out just shy of 200mph.

Meanwhile, new Variable Boost Management software cleverly tweaks torque delivery to suit whichever gear you’re in. This not only optimises fuel consumption, but also decreases emissions while treating you to formidable performance and a smoother ride. All this at high speeds, with torque of up to 750 Nm in 7th and 8th gear.

Incredibly, Ferrari has also managed to achieve zero turbo lag and better combustion efficiency. Thanks to a more compact flat-plane crankshaft, smaller turbines with reduced inertia, and twin-scroll technology that increases exhaust pulses for maximum power, throttle response is immediate.
